Parent Teacher Association:

Before we get into any discussion we would like to define the meaning of the Parent Teacher Association.

A PTA is basically a voluntary group of parents who together with teachers and even students for an organization that has a say in the running of the school.

Usually Parent Teacher Association is involved with activities like fund raising, building parent involvement and at school.

Our school is one of the very few in Karachi to have a parent teacher association running as an organization in the school.

We have in the past allowed great changed to occur in the running school with regards to suggestions from the PTA.

Thus we really do give importance to this organization

The Parents Teacher Association (PTA) is our children's advocate for quality education.

The PTA also operates and funds school committees that support enrichment programs at our school.

The PTA support includes library, art, water service, teacher purchases, family nights, annual BBQ, classroom parties, staff appreciation, community service, and scholarships.

The BIS PTA meets on the first Monday of each month from 7 PM - 8:30 PM in the Marketing Department.
