“Education is a weapon whose effects depend on who holds it in his hands and at whom it is aimed"

When examining any society, one of the most important aspects of a civilization is the amount of education it has attained. Joseph Stalin was right when he said that the effects of education depends upon who holds it in his hands and at whom it is aimed. Education is by far a kingdom of knowledge that can only lead to eternal success provided one is dedicated and diligent in the efforts he or she makes.

Educating a child is like hand-painting, you don’t want to force too hard and neither do you want to press too gently. A blend of the right paints and an artists impression is what makes a picture perfect and so education should be treated in the same manner.

Educating the youth allows their minds to develop and blossom like the petals of a flower, if even one petal falls of, the rose looks incomplete and thus any flaw in one’s educational background forces life to turn in a totally different direction.

At BIS not only do we provide education, we exemplify what education is and how it should be practiced. Our school is built on a tradition and lays on a foundation which integrates exemplary instruction, design, research and technology.

The British International School is the recognized center of excellence for British education in Pakistan. We provide our students with a broad-based curriculum and apply our motto of ‘excellence’ to education, sports and extra-curricular activities.

The school offers a unique educational experience which develops self-reliance and the ability to form opinions and make judgments based on knowledge and skills students acquire for themselves and not just information that they have learned from the pages of books.

It is our aim to provide our students with the education that they will need to face the challenges of the 21st century. Please come and visit the school and see a true British education here in Pakistan.
